“Getting (Re)Started in Genealogy” will be presented at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, via Zoom. The program will be presented by Terry Feinberg, a professional genealogist. This program is designed for those new and familiar to genealogy. Using Ancestry and FamilySearch sites efficiently and appropriately for your own needs and finding key genealogy places online and in person, this program will connect you to the best places to find documents that will get you started or move you along. The program is approximately 45 minutes, followed by a Q&A session. Call Julie at (815) 235-9777, ext. 254, or email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the link to the Zoom program. If you’ve not used Zoom in the past, it requires just your computer with speakers and internet connectivity or a smartphone. Microphones are not necessary but will allow you to speak rather than type any questions or comments.
